Sustainable Employability project “Nosce Te Ipsum” with the help of ESF
At ZNAPZ we recognize that our own people are the most valuable assets of our organization. Therefore, we are currently using the ESF subsidy fund (European Social Fund) to create an extra focus on promoting sustainable employability.
Sustainable employees are healthy, motivated, competent and productive at this moment and in the future. The intention of this project is to increase the motivation, competences and vitality with the final goal of developing talent, knowledge, skills and work life balance in good harmony for our employees.
When the goals of this project are realized, the final results can be described as follow:
– Optimal and sustainable employability of all employees, where there is room for differences between employees and the individual talents are effectively utilized.
– Increase the involvement of the employees because they are (still) more involved in the organization, they listen to their ambitions, they are deployed on their talents and qualities and this has a positive impact on staff turnover and absenteeism.
– Even better communication which leads to better cooperation and this contributes to the success of the organization.
– For ZNAPZ an even better image, brand awareness and become an even more attractive employer.

It’s a startling fact that as much as 90 percent of all data generated by devices such as sensors on equipment, smart phones, tablets, connected vehicles and appliances is never analysed or acted on. So imagine if your company did take action.
During the specially organized ‘Internet of Things – From hype to insight’ Shipping Event, you will have the opportunity to learn how you can derive deep business insight from the Internet of Things (an integrated fabric of sensors, devices, data, connections, processes and people). You’ll not only hear what we think about the power of Internet of Things, but also what our customers are achieving today and planning in the future. This generates a huge volume and variety of data that is under-utilized or often not used at all. Asset Management & Internet of Things in the Rail Industry
Asset Management is a key topic in the Rail Industry with hundreds of billions invested in Western Europe in the next 10 years. Now optimizing this is a challenge. But the technology Internet of Things is coming to support us. How to know the Asset, the Asset Health and what to do to generate the highest value of the Assets.
Real Time Monitoring
With todays Internet of Things technology we can be real time informed about the Asset Health. A good example of this is the always challenging situation of “square” wheels of trains, where a wheel isn’t completely round. This leads to a higher wear of the wheels as soon as this happens, a higher wear of the rail track and less comfort to the passengers. The Rail companies can monitor this by measuring load, vibration and temperature of the track and the wheels. With these measurements an immediate indication can be given at the first deviation, enabling a fast and appropriate response on the given situation. The cost for this is relatively low and the payback = value significant. Lower maintenance cost for reworking the wheel to completely round, lower maintenance cost on the track and a reduction of track breaks. Last but not least this also prevents an uncomfortable journey of our passengers.
